Two 300's Shot so far in Sept

Although not a sacntioned 300 game, Dustin Schreve, a sixteen year old Carrollton High School Junior, fired 15 consecutive strikes in open bowling Wednesday night, Sept 9th, after competing in the Wednesday Night Teen League at Atwood Lanes & Pizza.  Dustin completed on the league-winning CHS boys bowling team last year.  The last ball finished a bit high, but as luck would have it, they all fell down to complete his first 300 game.  He started the next game with the first 3 before missing.  The 300 game was witness by about a dozen bystanders.

The following night, Thursday, Sept 10th, Charlie Tinlin started out with 269, finishing the first game with X and spare in the 10th frame.  The second game marked Charlie's 20th career 300 game.  Sadly, it was followed by some "bad shots" and a few splits to finish out the last game with a 158 to cap his 727 series.
